Autumn Anthony
Supervisor of the Office of Graduate Student Assistantships & Fellowships
Autumn Anthony is the Supervisor of the Office of Graduate Student Assistantships & Fellowships. In her role, Autumn is responsible for the budget and fiscal management of centrally funded graduate awards as well as the operating budget for the office. Autumn oversees staff across all administrative operations at OGSAF and works together with the Vice Provost for Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs on strategic planning and portfolio development of OGPA initiatives. Autumn is also the Program Director of the Presidential Fellowship, which was recently reinstated after a two-year hiatus.
Prior to joining OGSAF in the spring of 2022, Autumn worked in GW’s Office for International Programs where she developed international agreements at the undergraduate level as well as served as the central point of contact for advising agreements managers within each graduate school to establish, update and maintain international contracts.
Autumn is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Middle East Studies at the Elliott School for International Affairs at GW. Prior to that, she obtained her BA in International Relations from the University of Colorado at Boulder where she focused on the Middle East region and pursued minors in Political Science and Arabic. A language enthusiast, Autumn speaks Spanish, French, and Arabic as a result of having an international education starting at the age of nine. In her free time she also enjoys painting, ceramics, gardening and being outdoors.
Megan Steiner Potier
Program Associate
In her position as Program Associate, Megan Steiner Potier coordinates graduate award administration, advises graduate students about funding opportunities, and administers the Graduate Teaching Assistantship Program. Megan also manages the office web presence and mass communications with internal partners.
Prior to joining GW, Megan worked in municipal government and higher education in her hometown of Milwaukee, WI. She holds a BA in International Studies from St. Norbert College and is currently pursuing a MPS in Sustainable Urban Planning from GW's College of Professional Studies.
Conner Zelmer
Program Associate
In his position as Program Associate, Conner Zelmer coordinates graduate award administration, advises graduate students about funding opportunities, manages Banner workflow as well as the faculty hire application processes.
Prior to joining GW, Conner worked in Virginia Tech University’s International Center. He was the recipient of the MEXT scholarship and was granted an M.A. in sociology from Keio University in Tokyo. He holds a B.A. in cultural anthropology from Ball State University.
Isabelle Giuttari
Administrative Associate
Isabelle works as the Administrative Associate for the Office of Graduate Student Assistantships and Fellowships. She advises students about funding opportunities and supports students applying for the Boren and Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships. Isabelle also assists with graduate awards administration and events management.
Isabelle completed her Master's in English from GW in 2024. She is from New England and prior to moving to D.C. for her M.A., she studied English and Theatre at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Akhilesh Rangani
Administrative Assistant
Akhilesh works as the Student Administrative Assistant for the Office of Graduate Student Assistantships and Fellowships, where he manages hiring data and develops automation tools to streamline data handling. Akhilesh also assists with events management and other administrative tasks.
Currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at George Washington University, Akhilesh is originally from India. Before moving to D.C., he completed his Bachelor's in Computer Engineering at P P Savani University.
