Grad2Grad Tuition Discount

Current undergraduate students at the George Washington University (GW) may be eligible and interested to participate in the Grad2Grad program to continue graduate study (one master's degree program or graduate certificate program) at GW. Not only can you apply to a variety of GW graduate programs, but you will also receive a 10% reduction in the cost of your tuition.

Select master’s programs are offering enhanced Grad2Grad awards, including tuition discounts ranging from 25% up to 50% for GW undergraduate students completing their BA or BS degrees in 2026. Please contact your school for additional scholarship information and eligibility details. 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Recent* graduate of a GW bachelor's degree program
  • Acceptance and enrollment in an eligible GW master's degree program or graduate certificate (eligible programs listed below)
    • Please refer to the lists below to determine which formats (in person and/or online) of each program are eligible
  • Continuous enrollment for all semesters until the master's degree or graduate certificate is earned (summer registration is allowed, but not required)

The Grad2Grad program discount is included in GW School of Business's special grants.


Ineligibility:

All university awards - including the Grad2Grad discount - cannot be accepted in conjunction with the GW tuition remission benefit available to qualified employees at the George Washington University, GW Medical Faculty Associates, and Children's National Hospital employees. 

Students who have been awarded full tuition fellowships for graduate study are not eligible for the Grad2Grad Program.

Effective Fall 2024, the Nurse2Grad program replaces the previous Grad2Grad tuition discount for GW BSN graduates and offers even greater benefits to eligible students. Application Process

Step 1: Once you find a program of interest, apply for admission as you normally would. If you have questions, contact the school you are applying to.

Step 2: When you are accepted, complete and submit the Grad2Grad Fellowship Enrollment Application

Your application must be received by a certain deadline, depending on your first semester as a graduate student.

Step 3: Register for courses in your program. Your award will be applied to your account and will reduce your tuition by 10%. Please note that this price reduction does not apply to matriculation, orientation, and course fees.
